People across the globe and around Australia tune in to play along in the Concert for the Planet during Earth Hour.
We'd love to see your images and videos so don't be shy post to facebook or share directly. We've collated some of the wonderful images and videos that have been sent to us to share so far.
From the Rocket Scientist Orchestra (and friends) at NASA in the US to the sweet tones of regional and rural Australia. The Global Orchestra numbers swelled to share a performance like no other - a mass participation, multi location performance of the The Planets.
This video was shared with us by our friends at NASA Langley Research Center.
The team at the Global Orchestra Foundation would like to thank all participants and a special thanks goes to the organisers of satellite events. We look forward to sharing our plans for the upcoming year which may include an outing to Paris for the Climate Conference. Stay tuned.
Preshow - The team monitor the 18 camera's and4 live feeds coming back from some of our Satellite Events
Another important detail of Live Event sharing information the old fashioned way!
There were many volunteers on the Global Orchestra Team. A big thanks for helping us get the message out!
Conductor-Cam a raging success thanks to some ingenuity from Justin and Charlie
Preconcert interview. The maestro David Robertson is a very eloquent man.
This is the calm before the storm where 2600 patrons join us to listen to the performance of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
In just under 3 hours the Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House and many building in Sydney and around the globe will switch off in solidarity for climate change. Earth Hour lights out is a gesture not a power saving ideal. We're simply saying we care and will make changes in our own lives to live more sustainably.
